The Albert “Albie” Sherman Center will be an interdisciplinary, state-of-the-art research and education facility that will foster interaction and collaboration among scientists and promote innovation and synergy across disciplines.

The Center was named by The General Court of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for Albie Sherman, longtime Vice Chancellor for University Relations at UMass Worcester.
