Cedrick Boursiquot
2008 HSHCP Participant

"Amazing, phenomenal, and life-transforming are just a few words that can be used to describe the High School Health Careers Program at UMass Medical School. Seminars, hands on projects, interactive environments and faculty and staff members, who are equipped to teach, form the foundation for successful students and ultimately a successful program. Responsibility, time management, and sociability are all character traits that are exemplified by both the students and instructors, combined with a firm academic schedule form the exceptional program known as HSHCP. By the Grace of God I was admitted into such a prestigious program and was able to broaden my sphere of knowledge, and definitively decide to pursue a career in the medical field. HSHCP has definitely been a milestone in my life, and will continue to be as long as I live."
