Thomas Grisso, Ph.D. leads a team of CMHSR researchers investigating the involvement of adolescents in the juvenile justice system. Other Faculty interested in clinical and systemic issues in the identification of, and response to, mental health needs of juveniles in juvenile justice systems include: Gina Vincent, Ph.D., William H Fisher, Ph.D. Albert J. Grudzinskas Jr., Maryann Davis, Ph.D., and Valerie Williams, MA, MS. Their work focuses on improving the quality of clinical forensic evaluations and clinical consultation for the courts, criminal justice, forensic mental health, and correctional systems (e.g., pretrial forensic evaluations, assessment of violence potential, assessments to identify individuals in need of mental health services).
