Is there funding available for MD/PHD students? All students are funded 100% by the institution and faculty research mentor.

Is there a payback requirement for withdrawal from the Program? Yes, if a student withdraws from the Program, there is a Special Program Fee which requires a student to pay back a set amount for each semester (Fall and Spring) if they withdraw from the Program. This fee is set at 10K per semester for MA residents and 17.5K per semester for out-of-state residents.

What type of financial support is available for students in the MD/PhD Program? The current stipend for MD/PhD students is $28,000 for AY08/09, plus tuition waivers and paid health, dental and disability insurance. Students are also eligible for Financial Aid; please contact the Financial Aid Office for more information.
