HR Satellite Office Closed Due to Construction:  Until further notice the ISSO and Benefits Office will no longer be staffing the Satellite Office in the Shaw Building.  Employees needing assistance from either of these two departments are encouraged to take the shuttle to the main HR offices at South Street.

International Festival Volunteers Needed:  The International Festival’s Entertainment Committee is seeking your help for the 2010 International Festival scheduled on Friday, May 14, 2010 on the University Campus.  We can really use your help.  Please contact the appropriate individual if you are interested in being a part of this committee.

  • Entertainment: We are looking for individuals or groups who would be willing to share their talents for 15 minutes.  Entertainment is coordinated by Nellie Toney.
  • Student Exhibits:  Set up a table to highlight your culture.  Exhibits are coordinated by Mayuri Rege.
  • Volunteers: Help with the overall set-up and logistics of the festival.  Coordinated by Michelle Deignan.

 

Holiday Travel    Update

The next few months are a popular time to travel. If you plan to travel to your home country, another country or even around the U.S. over the upcoming holiday season, we recommend that you come to this session. We will review recommendations for both international and domestic travel, discuss required documentation, visa renewal applications and ‘administrative processing’ at the consulates. Please bring your lunch and your questions. We look forward to seeing you soon.

International Craft Fair

Come support UMass students as they sell items from their travels abroad: jewelry, fabrics, hammocks, paintings and more.  All proceeds benefit artisans and community programs in developing countries.  International Craft Fair Flyer.
