Volunteering / Mentoring

The WPC Mentor Program matches individuals from its partnership institutions including elementary, middle, high school, and college students with professional staff in the health care and science careers. Through one-to-one and group mentoring sessions, successful health professionals and student volunteer/mentors support the academic work of pipeline students and increase their awareness of careers in the health care and science professions. In addition, Visiting Scientists and Projects Fair Coaches provide positive role models who can awaken career aspirations and arouse a student's quest for knowledge GRAPHIC: Carlo DiBonaventura, University of Massachusetts Medical School - Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences mentors Health & Science Academy students at North High School.
