Advanced Training

The field of medical interpretation is constantly evolving. As the complexity of health care increases, so does the need to provide additional training in specific clinical topics and technologies.  The Office of Community Programs offers advanced training to provide continued professional development for medical interpreters in specialized topics such as:

  • Diabetes
  • HIV
  • Oral Health
  • Pediatrics

Who Should Attend

Trained medical interpreters who want to increase their proficiency in specific clinical topics.

Registration

Pre-registration and an entry assessment are required for admission. Early sign up early is recommended as class size is often limited.
