Training Development and Management
Leading the Way with Innovative Community Health Training
Through anticipating the needs of the community and identifying emerging health issues, the Office of Community Programs (OCP) is a leader in developing and implementing training for health workers and clinicians. This extensive experience includes both the identification of well-researched topics that are timely and relevant, as well as the development of curriculums, manuals, educational materials and training sessions that are effective, innovative, interactive and well received by participants. OCP is available to assist you to develop training sessions for your organization or community.
Demonstrated Experience
OCP has demonstrated a capacity to develop innovative, informative, skill based training to advance the knowledge and skills of clinicians, health workers, medical interpreters and members of the community. Examples of successful training opportunities offered by OCP include:
- MassHealth Training Forum which provides quarterly regional trainings on MassHealth policies and procedures for healthcare organizations and community agencies
- Clinical Training for Medicaid Providers to advance their knowledge of clinical guidelines, patient concerns and other identified areas
- Oral Health Training for Providers to advance dental care for underinsured and uninsured Massachusetts residents
