Our Facility
The Center consists of 1,500 square feet of space designed to support state-of- the-art simulation technology including task trainers, screen-based simulation, and full body mannequins. It is comprised of five rooms:
Scenario Room (S1-303)
Designed for interactive, group learning using high-fidelity mannequins (SimMan and MegaCode Kid) in an environment that recreates the “look and feel” of a clinical setting. This room is equipped with state-of-the-art digital cameras for taping and review of scenarios. A one-way mirror for real-time “observation” allows direct visualization from the control room.
Task Trainer Rooms (S1-301, S1-311)
These rooms support task training activities.
Control Room (S1-305)
For one-way viewing of scenario room activities and remote control of high-fidelity mannequin scenarios.
Debriefing Room (S1-309)
Conference-type room with plasma screen to view and “debrief” activities recorded in the scenario room, viewing can be “real time” or post-activity.
