Research Career & Writing Group (K Award Group)

R01 Award Writing Group
This newly established group is run by Dr. Schahram Akbarian, Associate Professor and Director of Translational Research at the BNRI. The R01 Review Group is aimed towards faculty who are actively writing R or P type NIH proposals, who plan to submit their proposal in a few weeks or months from now. Thus the group could provide review and feedback for 'R or P grants in progress' or even better, for near complete R01's and provide a forum for useful advice.

Research for Clinicians
This group is being spearheaded by Dr. Alan Brown and Dr. Len Doerfler, Professor in the Department of Psychology at Assumption College. They are discussing "bootstrap" approaches to clinical research with specific examples for clinicians who are just getting into research. Global Research Group
This newly formed goup is being co-led by Drs. Doug Ziedonis, Bill McIlvane and Evgeny Rogaev. The group wants to learn about your global research interests / current activities, present the funding streams that are out there for global research and share about our current projects / funding - pros and cons of global research.
