ACTION Health Services (Accessible, Comprehensive, Treatment In Our Neighborhoods) is one of four health centers operated by Community Health Connections, Inc. Using a combination of mobile health units and a more traditional Healthcare for the Homeless clinic, ACTION provides medical, behavioral health, and dental services in Fitchburg and at sites throughout the region. Students will assist in caring for ACTION patients both in the clinic and in the community. Students will have an opportunity to interview successful opiate addiction clients and screen new clients for initiation into the Buprenorphone Program. Students may select an independent project focused on outreach to underserved populations in the community.

Note: We may be able to provide housing. Elective dates are flexible. We will accommodate two to four week rotations within your school’s schedule parameters.
