Clinical and Population Health Research PhD Program

The CPHR Program was specifically designed for students with an advanced degree and/or relevant clinical research experience; therefore, students have the opportunity to be directly involved in research from the very beginning of the program.  The strong and diverse clinical and health services research portfolio available provides students with a range of hands-on experiences while they take courses and choose dissertation projects.

MD/PhD Program

The goal of the MD/PhD Program is to provide highly motivated students the opportunities to develop skill and experience in biomedical investigation and the practice of medicine.  This is a rigorous and challenging program, and upon success completion the student is awarded both the PhD in Biomedical Sciences and the MD.  Our goal is to train physician-scientists who will make significant contributions to health care and who will become the leaders of academic medicine.
