The vision of the Department of Quantitative Health Sciences (QHS) is to improve population and individual health by transforming health care delivery through methodological innovation and to become a nationally and internationally recognized resource for translational research. The Department has a three-pronged mission:
The Quantitative Methods Core, within the Division of Biostatistics and Health Sciences Research in the Department of Quantitative Health Sciences, was founded to provide UMass investigators with clinical research support in biostatistics, experimental design, and data management.
The Department of Quantitative Health Sciences and the Quantitative Methods Core will conduct monthly workshops to explore statistical issues of general interest.
This workgroup provides an informal setting for new and experienced researchers to share nascent ideas or research-in-progress and to receive just-in-time feedback.
